We are a local authority nursery school for children aged 2-4 years.

We offer Tours of Tanglewood on a Monday or Wednesday morning at 9.30am.  Please ring or email to book a place.

Add your child to the waiting list by ringing 01245 352788 or emailing admissions@tanglewood.essex.sch.uk with their full name, date of birth, address and a contact number.

Little Tanglewood, our 2 year old provision takes children for between 2 and 5 three hour sessions a week, either all mornings or all afternoons. We do not offer full days.

Sesssions are paid for with your 2 year funding if you are eligible or they can be paid for at £16.50 a session, payable monthly.

Children can attend main Tanglewood from the term after their third birthday using their 3 year funding.  Children must attend all 5 sessions a week, term time only. Sessions must be all mornings or all afternoons. We do not offer full days.

We ask for an 80p a day contribution for private fund.  This covers the cost of a daily fresh fruit snack assortment, ingredients for cooking and our messy play that we buy in.  It also covers other extras within nursery.

We also have a parent and Toddler group on a Wednesday for children that do not attend either Little Tanglewood or main Tanglewood.  Sessions are £2 per family.  eWe run 2 sessions, either 9.15am – 10.45am or 1pm – 2.30pm.  Please ring or email to book a place.
