Rosie’s Pre-School opened in September 2018, caring for children aged 18 months to rising 5 year olds. Rosie’s Pre-School begun after the owner, Rosie, decided it was time to extend her childcare provision, after enjoying an extremely successful childminding career.

The small setting is run by 7 dedicated, nurturing and caring practitioners, who have collectively worked in childcare for 20+ years! The pre-school is situated in The Celtic Rose Centre (formerly known as St James’s Church Hall) on Guildford Road, and operates over the two floors; with the main learning space situated upstairs.

The focal point of the day is being in the outdoors, whether it be exploring Castle Park grounds, a bear hunt along the Wivenhoe trail or visiting the local museums and library – we embrace and value the importance of learning outside, enjoying our local environment.
